Moulinalmond Cottage …..

The sitting room, looking out

The 42 metre Pacific silver fir,
Abies magnifica,
now 153 years old

.....is ideally situated as a base from which to explore Scotland. Edinburgh is a 45 minute drive away; Glasgow is an hour, Dundee 30 minutes, Perth 10 minutes.

The cottage is well equipped, with a large pine-featured dining kitchen, and the sitting room has a welcoming wood-burning stove, TV and DVD. The garden door leads to a lovely sun-trap courtyard. Freshly decorated and comfortably furnished, this is a charming base from which to explore the rich tapestry of Perthshire and the Highlands - some of the most beautiful countryside in Europe.

The double room is accessed through the twin room and both bedrooms are en-suite to the bathroom.Because of this layout the cottage is best suited for a party of two, or a family group of 3/4. Due to the staircase it is not best suited to infirm or those with small children. It is no-smoking.

The grounds are laid out with many specimen trees and you have the exclusive use of an enclosed Victorial Walled Garden to relax in, with lawns, rose arch and fruit trees. Moulinalmond is adjacent to the ancient and historic Methven Wood.

Access to the woods is direct from the grounds.
